Venue Questions
The bar will be open for a maximum of 90 minutes ahead of your ceremony for guests to purchase refreshments. You can speak to your events team to find out the exact timings for your day.
Yes! We have our very own photobooth at Curradine Barns which you can use on your wedding day. There are three different packages available, all of which can be booked through our Events Team (get in touch for more info).
Unfortunately not because of the harm they can cause to livestock.
Out of consideration for neighbours and livestock, professional fireworks are permitted on 5 November and 31 December only.
Yes. There are also four wooden highchairs available for babies.
Yes, we do have a sound limiter in place. It is set at legal requirement, which is 92.5 decibels. All amplified music, bands and discos, must be played through this system.
Yes. There is step-free access throughout Curradine Barns and a disabled toilet.
Natural or organic confetti, e.g. dried flower petals, is permitted.
There is a large car park providing ample spaces for guests. Cars may be left overnight, at the owner’s risk, for collection the next morning by 10.00am. Coaches can drop off and collect guests; please confirm the drop-off and collection points with the Events Team.
A wedding car may be driven into the courtyard through the double gates for a perfect photo opportunity.
Both Granary Barn and Barley Barn have under floor heating. There is central heating throughout the rest of the building and a woodburner in the lounge/bar area is lit during the winter months. Barley Barn has air conditioning units that can be adjusted to heat or cool.
Many couples book classical musicians to provide music during the ceremony. However pre-recorded music is also popular. Songs must be approved by Worcestershire District Registration Team. There are many power sockets located around the barns to plug in a mini sound system or MP3 player or you can bring a CD/MP3 player to play through the Barns’ system.
The furniture is removed swiftly after the ceremony.
Curradine Barns is situated in a beautiful spot with lots of photographic opportunities inside and out. There are lovely gardens overlooking the church next door and pasture land all around for those arty or romantic shots. Either from the minstrel’s gallery or through the window of Granary Cottage is great for taking elevated shots of the whole wedding party. Your photographer is welcome to visit the venue by appointment before your wedding.
Absolutely! If you would like to purchase one of our products as a gift for the happy couple, we can arrange this for you. Please contact us on 01905 622143 and we will place the generous gift in either the morning preparation room or the honeymoon suite, the choice is yours.
Coats can be left in the cloakroom at the far end of the lounge area.
Presents can be left on the welcome table as you enter the reception area.
Food and Drink Questions
Yes, the Catering and Events Team will work with you to create the perfect bespoke menu on your wedding day. If you are choosing our Midweek package, please select dishes from the menu provided in your Food & Drink brochure.
If you wish to provide alcoholic favours for your guests, these have to be sourced through the Events Team. We have two options for alcoholic favours; spirits are priced at £5 + VAT per mini bottle, and cocktails are priced at £6 + VAT per mini bottle.
Yes, you can order additional wines to be served during your meal.
All the various drinks required are included in your chosen menu package. Our licensed bar will open straight after your ceremony.
In addition to any drinks included as part of your package our bar will be for guests to buy drinks. We have a selection of premium spirits and cocktails available.
Yes, we have vegetarian and vegan options in our Fine Food packages and we can also provide a different menu to accommodate guests who have food allergies.
Yes. Please speak to the Events Team about the cake stand and knife when discussing your menu.
We have included a delicious and healthy selection of children’s food. We suggest that if a child is under two years old you arrange for the parents to bring something suitable for them. If they are aged between two and ten, we offer a three-course children’s meal option. Guests aged eleven or over are charged at the full adult package price. Orange juice and mineral water will be available throughout.
We recommend four canapés per person.
If you decide to order from the more recent menu, than the one you originally chose and the price is higher, you’ll need to pay the increased amount. Just remember that the prices will stay the same as the menu you first picked.
Yes, you can add canapés as an upgrade.
We recommend that you choose one starter, one main course and one dessert.
Yes, we are flexible with the wine and are happy to accommodate your selection.
We recommend that you provide any of your contractors with a meal if they will be spending more than five hours at your wedding. We have two options available; we can provide either a two-course meal from your wedding breakfast menu or a packed lunch. It is a good idea to let your contractors know what to expect, i.e. a meal or a packed lunch.
Two to three reception drinks per person, half a bottle of wine per person and a glass of bubbly for the toast per person. We also serve complimentary orange juice and mineral water (still and sparkling) during the drinks reception and mineral water during the meal.
Yes! You can arrive at Curradine Barns from 9 am and begin your preparations in Wedding Preparation Room. Whilst you get ready, we have a range of delicious grazing boards for you to choose from. We can also provide bottles of Champagne or prosecco in Wedding Preparation Room so you can enjoy celebrating with your wedding party. Speak to the events team on 01905 622143 for more information.?
Our bar will be open before the ceremony begins (you can double-check the exact timings with the couple). We will have a fully stocked bar, meaning you can grab a refreshment before the ceremony begins. We also have a selection of luxury coffees if you need a pick-me-up after a long journey.
We accept credit and debit cards at our bar.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash.
