The red brick Curradine Barns, consisting of the Granary Barn, Barley Barn, Courtyard, Granary Cottage and Gardens, are a fine example of early 19th century rural architecture. Originally an agricultural grain store, restoration on the Barns began in Autumn 2004 to create the contemporary and atmospheric wedding venue it is today.
Located next to the pretty sandstone St.Mary's church, the barns were originally an agrictural gran store on a working farm. Restoration on the Barns began in Autumn 2004 to create the contemporary and atmospheric wedding venue it is today.
As well as retaining much of their original character and charm, such as exposed brickwork and traditional oak beams, there are also modern design features including stunning slate and limestone floors, under floor heating and air conditioning.
Twisted willow adorned with twinkly lights is a lovely feature throughout the barns. For December weddings, a huge Christmas tree also decorated with white twinkly lights, is romantic and seasonal.
Saturday 15th May 2010 and Sunday 29th August 2010 are still available.
